Candidate Forums

Main Library Assembly Room 

Meet and listen to contested candidates running for local offices in this November’s elections. Submit your questions in advance using this form or to library staff during the event. Forums will be moderated by Corey Friedman, Editor of The Wilson Times.

National Voter Registration Day 2023 is Tuesday, September 19!  Drop into the Main Library Assembly Room from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. to learn about the importance of voting, to register to vote and find your polling place, and to enjoy free popcorn and lemonade!

Some programs are funded by a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Grant awarded to the Wilson County Public Library for the creation of a CrAFT Studio - Creativity, Art, Fabrication, and Technology lab. The CrAFT Studio will combine the Makerspace movement with STEAM subjects through robotics, coding, crafts, electronics, and more.
