ArtSpin: Paint a Pick

Main Library Assembly Room

Join us for a fun and creative afternoon of transforming wooden guitar picks into colorful works of art. This free, family-friendly program is perfect for all ages and skill levels. No artistic experience necessary! All supplies will be provided. Let your imagination run wild and create a unique piece to show off your musical spirit. Supplies will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Kids can call Dial-a-story at (252) 265-5570 (English) or (252) 265-8433 (En EspaƱol) to hear a story read out loud.

Staff is available Monday through Saturday at the Main Library, 9am to 6pm, to answer questions and help you use our online resources, including downloading eBooks. Call 252-237-5355 for assistance.

Some programs are funded by a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Grant awarded to the Wilson County Public Library for the creation of a CrAFT Studio - Creativity, Art, Fabrication, and Technology lab. The CrAFT Studio will combine the Makerspace movement with STEAM subjects through robotics, coding, crafts, electronics, and more.
